2015 Veteran's Day Freebies

Every Veterans Day in the United States, military-friendly companies offer free meals and deals. See below for great offerings.


Applebee’s 
At participating Applebee’s on 11-11-2015, Veterans and Active Duty Military can select a free meal from a limited menu for Veteran’s Day. Provide proof of service required.

Arby’s 
1 FREE Roast Beef Classic Sandwich on Veterans Day Wednesday, 11/11/2015 at participating locations during normal business hours.

Bar Louie
Free Lunch or Dinner From open to close Tuesday, November 10th and Wednesday, November 11th Bar Louie locations across the country will offer veterans and active military personnel a free meal up to a $12 value when they show valid military I.D. or other proof of service.

Bob Evans 
On Veterans Day 11-11-15, Veterans and active military personnel will receive a choice of free select breakfast menu items (stack of hotcakes, Fresh Baked Brioche French Toast, Sunrise Breakfast, Country Biscuit Breakfast, Mini Sampler Breakfast) at its restaurants. All these honored servicemen and women need do is show proof of service, including U.S. Uniformed Services (current or retired) Identification Card, a current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), or a Veterans’ organization card (American Legion or VFW, for example). Guests wearing a military uniform on Veterans Day also are eligible.

Bonanza Steakhouse 
All former and current military service men and women enjoy a free buffet (beverage not included) from 4pm – close on Nov. 11, 2015, at all participating Bonanza Steakhouses. Contact your local Bonanza for more details.

California Pizza Kitchen 
On Veterans Day, all veterans or active duty military personnel will be able to select from a special Veterans Day menu including pizza, salads and pasta. Please come in uniform or bring your military ID or other proof of service.

Carrabba’s Free Appetizer 
All active and retired veterans receive a free appetizer at participating locations on Monday, November 9th through Sunday, November 15th.

Centraarchy Restaurants 
This Veterans Day, Veterans and active military service members receive a free entrée and 25% off to their accompanied family and friends. Includes California Dreaming, New York Prime, Chophouse ’47, The Tavern at Phipps, Carolina Roadhouse, Joey D’s Oak Room, Burro Loco, Gulfstream Cafe, Chophouse New Orleans.

Cheeseburger in Paradise 
Receive a complimentary Veteran’s Burger with fries to veterans, active and retired military personnel on Veterans Day, 11.11.15. Dine in only, must purchase a beverage, and must present proof of service.

Chili’s Free Meal
Veterans and active-duty military receive a free meal on Veterans Day from a special Veterans Day menu. Must show proof of military service.

 City Barbeque
 One free half pound sandwich platter will be given to each veteran for either dine-in or carryout orders on 11-11-2015. At participating locations only.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store 
Veterans receive a complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake dessert to veterans and an opportunity for guests to make purchases that support the United Service Organizations (USO). Veterans Day only.

Denny’s All You Can Eat Pancakes
On Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 5 a.m. to noon all active, inactive and retired military personnel at all participating Denny’s restaurants nationwide will receive a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast.

FATZ Cafe 
FATZ Cafe salutes our Veterans and Active Military with a free entrée on Veterans Day. On Nov. 11 from 11 AM to close present your Military ID and enjoy a free world famous Calabash Chicken meal.

Friendly’s Free Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner 
Friendly’s is treating veterans and active military, with a valid military ID or honorable discharge card, to a free dine-in breakfast, lunch or dinner from select menus on Veteran’s Day, 11.11.15. The breakfast choice is their Big-Two-Do’s® array of breakfast options, and the lunch and dinner option is the All American Burger with fries and a beverage (soda, iced tea or hot beverage).

Golden Corral 
On Wednesday November 11, 2015,  Golden Corral offers a free sit-in “thank you” dinner for Military veterans, retirees, and active duty members.

Green Mill Restaurant and Bar
Veterans and Active Duty Military will receive a free lunch or dinner dine-in meal at participating locations on Veterans Day Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Must show proof of service, and beverages and gratuity are not included in free meal.

Hooters Free Meal 
Hooters invites all veterans and current servicemen and women to a Hooters Veterans Day free meal menu by presenting a military ID or proof of service at any Hooters location across the country.

IHOP
On Veteran’s Day, participating IHOP Restaurants around the nation will be honoring the brave men and women who have served, or are serving, in the United States Military by offering them free Red, White and Blue pancakes. At some locations, the Red, White and Blue pancakes will be featured as part of a free combo plate including eggs, bacon and hashed browns.

Krystal 
On Wednesday, November 11, from 6 AM to 11 AM, all active and retired military can receive a free chicken or free sausage biscuit. Plus, from 11 am to close, everyone can take advantage of $.50 Pups and Corn Pups. Krystal will donate a portion of the proceeds of the Pups and Corn Pups sold on Veterans Day directly to The Armed Services YMCA.

Little Caesars 
Free Crazy $5 Hot-n-Ready lunch combo from 11am-2pm at participating Little Caesars Pizza locations for US Veterans and Active Military on 11.11.2015. Must present a valid military ID.

Lamar’s Donuts
Free donut and a 12oz coffee for all veterans and active military on Veterans Day.

Longhorn Steakhouse Free App 
Receive a complimentary Texas Tonion appetizer and a non-alcoholic beverage on Nov. 11. Includes veterans and current service members.

On Veterans Day, participating Max & Erma’s locations are cMax & Erma’s Free Cheeseburger Combo Meal with Dessert elebrating veterans and active military personnel with a free three course combo.

McCormick and Schmick’s Free Entree
 On Sunday, November 8th, 2015 enjoy a complimentary entree. All veterans must show official verification. Entrees must be enjoyed at the restaurant.

Menchie’s Free Frozen Yogurt 
On Veterans Day, all Veterans and military personnel with a military ID or dressed in uniform will receive a free six ounce frozen yogurt any time of day. Show a valid ID or be in uniform to receive.

Mission BBQ 
Veterans and active-duty military will get a free sandwich and cake (while supplies last)on Veterans Day 11/11/15.

Native Grill & Wings 
Free meals for Veterans and Active Duty Military on Veterans Day, 11-11-2015. Choose from four options: crispy chicken sandwich, the native stripper platter, personal pizza, or the Native burger.

O’Charley’s Free Meal
On Monday, November 9th, all veterans and all active-duty military personnel will have their choice of one of nine meals on the O’Charley’s “$9.99er” menu. Options include O’Charley’s Famous Chicken Tenders & Twisted Chips, Cowboy Sirloin, Homestyle Chicken Pot Pie and Santa Fe Tilapia, among others.

Olive Garden Free Meal 
On Wednesday, November 11, 2015 all veterans and military active duty will receive a free meal including entrees, freshly baked garlic breadsticks and a choice of unlimited soup or salad.

On The Border Free Entree 
This Veterans Day, all veterans and active duty military will receive a free meal at OTB’s on Wednesday, Nov. 11th, ’15. The meal is from the”Create Your Own Combo menu,” which is a “choose 2” or “choose 3” menu (valued up to $10.79).

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt 
All veterans, retired and active-duty military personnel receive one free cup of froyo, up to 11 ounces, on Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11th, 2015. To claim the offer, customers should provide proof of military service, such as a military ID card, uniform photo, honors, badges, or come dressed in their military uniform.

Outback Steakhouse Free Bloomin’ Onion® and a beverage 
All active, retired military and veterans get a Free Bloomin’ Onion® and a beverage on Veterans Day. Must have valid identification. There is also a military discount of 15% off the total check from November 12th thru December 31st, 2015, valid for military members and their families.

Red Hot & Blue Restaurants
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 9-11, 2015, veterans, Active Duty, Retirees and Reservists receive a free entrée with the purchase of two drinks and a second entrée of equal or greater value. Proof of military service required. Din-in only. Print and present the coupon before ordering.

Red Robin Free Burger and Fries 
All Veterans and Active Duty Military get a free Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries on Veterans Day.

Rock & Brews 
Veterans and active-duty members receive a free Pulled Pork Sandwich and side on November 11th. Dine in only, military or veteran ID required.

Shoney’s Offers Free All-American Burger 
Shoney’s says ‘Thank You’ to America’s heroes by offering a Shoney’s All-American Burger and fries to all Veterans and Active Duty Military members on Veterans Day, 11 November 2015.

Sizzler Free Lunch 
Sizzler celebrates Vets, Active-Military personnel with free lunch Nov. 11. Meal includes choice of steak, chicken or shrimp entrée with beverage. Sizzler’s salute to veterans is good until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at participating locations. The offer excludes the Unlimited Salad Bar and gratuity.

Spaghetti Warehouse 
Buy 1 Get 1 Free Meal From Monday, Nov. 9 through Wednesday Nov. 11, 2015, receive a special “buy one entree, get one free” coupon offer and they are encouraging its guests to “invite a veteran to lunch or dinner.” This coupon will be available on the Spaghetti Warehouse website on Nov. 3, and can be printed or presented by mobile phone.

Sticky Fingers Ribhouse 
Veterans, active, inactive or retired servicemen and servicewomen get a free entrée up to a $12.99 value this Veteran’s Day. For servicemen and servicewomen the meal is completely free and no other purchases have to be made in order to receive the $12.99 value. Available Wed., Nov. 11, 2015. Uno’s free entrée or pizza with a purchase 
With a military or veteran ID, entrees are buy one get one free on Veterans day.

Village Inn Free Breakfast 
All who have served get a free breakfast on Veterans Day, available all day long. Choose between Buttermilk Pancakes, three slices of French Toast or a Belgian Waffle. Village Inn is also thanking veterans with a “Thank You for Your Service Card”, which is a 20% discount off the total bill for the next time they visit a Village Inn. This year, Veterans Day falls on Free Pie Wednesdays, so be sure to get a slice (with any purchase) between 10am and 10pm.

Whitecastle 
Veterans to receive free breakfast slider and small coffee or small soft drink on Veterans Day.

Wienerschnitzel
